Mike Hillyard
Mike Hillyard
Director

With over 17 years experience in the automotive industry, Mike Hillyard is thoroughly familiar with all phases of customer service. He started in an entry level position and within a short period worked his way into increasingly more responsibilities serving as valet, technician, service advisor, and service manager. At every level he has excelled. He was able to supervise all aspects of customer service, and at the same time, engaging in team building and development of each member of his staff. His passion for the automotive field comes from his late grandfather, Floyd Gorham, of Gorham Automotive, and his goal is to bring this same high level of commitment to building Hillyard Automotive into the most trusted name in the service industry.

Ryan Downey
Ryan Downey
Lead Technician

My name is Ryan Downey. You could say cars are in my blood. I spent most of my childhood at my dad’s shop, Datsun Dynamics. I would go there after school and on weekends to help around the shop. I loved learning about the cars and especially how to fix them. In high school I attended the Auto Collision Repair class at Monroe Technology Center. I then moved on to graduate from Ohio Technical College and their Automotive Restoration program. After college I’ve worked at numerous auto motive repair shops including Auto Expectations, BMW of Sterling, Blueridge Motorworks, Downey’s Vintage Garage and Great Falls Car Care. With my over 17 years of working experience I will be able to bring a great amount of knowledge and passion to everything I do.
